ACTIVE SAFETY SYSTEMS WITH DETROIT ASSURANCE
The safer the truck, the more confident you can be knowing that you will reach all your destinations, including home. The Detroit Assurance suite of safety systems is a proactive approach to safety, helping drivers make split-second decisions and making safe driving practices second nature.
ACTIVE BRAKE ASSIST
Active Brake Assist 4.0, (ABA) a feature of the Detroit Assurance safety suite, promotes safe driving practices by tracking distances from the front of the truck to other vehicles ahead. ABA issues audible, visual, and kinetic warnings before partially or fully braking.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), a feature of the Detroit Assurance safety suite, automatically adjusts cruising speed to maintain safe distances from other vehicles in the driver’s path, reducing the need for manual speed and cruise adjustments.
LANE DEPARTURE WARNING
Lane Departure Warning (LDW), a feature of the Detroit Assurance safety suite, is a windshield-mounted camera that detects lane markers and alerts the driver audibly when a vehicle crosses over the lane.
LED-LIT EXTERIOR
The new Cascadia LED headlights lead the industry in light output and safety. Drivers are provided an impressive field of view when driving at night and in bad weather.
